Abstract

Photolysis of pyrazolone and pyrazolidinone compounds has been described. Some of these compounds, e.g., Amidopyrine (Aminophenazone) and Phenyl-butazone (Butazolidine), have found application as drugs. Primary photochemical processes occurring in them lead to the opening of the pyrazolidirie ring.
