Abstract

Adult male albino rats were injected inlnt-peritoneally once daily for 14 consecutive days with 20mgkg- 1 dose of levamisole dissolved in distilled water. The control received equivalent volumes of distilled water only. Levamisole modestly increased the activities of all the micromisole  drug metabolizing enymes detemiined which include NADPH -Cytochrome Credutase, Cytochromeb5 and Aniline hydroxylase.
