Abstract

In June 1981, the first announcement of cases of Acquired Immunodeficiency disease (AIDS) was made in the United States of Amercia (U.S.A). The world was thus awakened to what is now generally accepted to be another epidemic among mankind, this century. Current estimates by WHO sources are that 10 - 20m are now infected.
